About Me

Growing up as a kid, I had quite a few challenges with hearing. I remember days of hospital runs, multiple ENT appointments as well as prayer and anointing services for me to gain my hearing properly….It was tough. Little wonder my ears have now become a major superpower, and has had a direct impact on my cash flow….Cues in *Im a big boy by Eldee the Don*……Whooosh!

The SoundBaker(a name given to me by Stephanie Ugbeye)….such a powerful force to reckon with globally.

My knack for audio production started as a result of not being able to have access to a studio as well as an audio engineer. I mean I was young and naive, with dreams of being the youngest blown voiceover actor at 15…and to top it off, I didn’t have money to afford a Studio session, a voice director and an audio ENGINEER for my projects. So what did I do? Same thing I did every night…tried to take over the world muhahahahahahahahahahahahah….goodness I play too much.

So what did I do?

I took matters into my hands, searched the web, borrowed laptops, chugged on Mike Russels tutorials and got my hands dirty wit mock projects, understanding the dynamics of mobile editing and promoting my work like my life depended on it.

Throughout my projects, I’ve mastered audio production software like Pro Tools and Adobe Audition, ensuring flawless sound quality and consistency. My attention to detail ensures that every sound aligns perfectly with the story, whether it’s the subtle rustling of paper or the intense hum of city life. Some of my skills iclude,  brand messaging alignment, project management, script interpretation and adaptation, Audio mixing and mastering, critical thinking, creative sound scaping and creative problem solving.

I’ve also had the privilege of collaborating and coaching over a 150 voiceover talents as a voice and director on a plethora of projects using “Context Based” storytelling approach to help them understand and communicate the essence of the story, Provide constructive feedback to elevate their performances and ensure that the final product resonates deeply with the audience.

Being a casting director requires not just any pair of ears but a finely tuned listening prowess. It’s about understanding the nuances of voice texture and, most importantly, achieving the perfect ‘Voice Fit.’ Every project has a distinct tone, mood, and audience, so finding that right voice is crucial. It’s not just about selecting a voice that sounds good but one that resonates with the brand’s message and embodies the story being told. The role requires an empathetic understanding of both the brand’s goals and the voiceover talent’s strengths. This combination of analytical precision and empathetic guidance allows me to craft casts that elevate stories to new heights and make every audio production a standout success.”

As The Ears, my dedication to high-quality audio production and storytelling has driven brand satisfaction across various projects. From awareness campaigns to podcasts and advocacy initiatives, I’m passionate about delivering immersive audio experiences that resonate with audiences.”

As “The Brain,” I thrive on creativity and the power of ideas. In 2020, I created and launched the Letters to Boyz podcast, a movement on a mission to encourage positive masculinity. Our goal is to empower men to challenge harmful stereotypes and contribute to a more inclusive society by covering career, emotional intelligence, family dynamics, and financial literacy—all aligned with SDG Goal 5: Gender Equality. With over 10,000 downloads across podcast platforms, Letters to Boyz became the first and only Nigerian podcast accepted into the Google Podcast Creators Program in 2021. This boosted our visibility by 50%, reaching audiences in Europe, North America, and Asia. That same year, we were nominated for Podcast of the Year at the Gage Awards. Let’s just call this advocacy through podcasting.

But it’s not just about podcasts. My imagination cooks up projects that blend storytelling and advocacy in a way that captivates and inspires. Think of it as mixing ingredients to create a flavorful dish that leaves a lasting impact. I collaborate with creative minds, sometimes new to the process. For instance, as part of their graduation requirement at the Voiceover Academy, I guide students through the entire process, from ideation and vocal direction in the studio to visual storytelling. I support students in ideating and crafting stories that are memorable, impactful, and timeless. Together, we’ve tackled issues like breast ironing, cybersecurity, endometriosis, health and wellness, climate change, and autism. Each project starts with one simple question: “How can this story make a difference?” My impact on these projects has given a jury satisfaction rate of 90%.

To make these ideas work, we focus on the heart of the story. I consider the message, the audience, and how to tell it in a way that will resonate deeply. It’s like baking up a recipe, carefully balancing flavors to ensure it’s relatable, inspiring, and unforgettable. My goal is always to stir emotions, provoke thought, and spark positive change—all while keeping it simple, relatable, and true to life. Some of these projects have been featured on TV and even nominated for the SOVAS Awards in both 2022 and 2023.
